Catoctin Sports Boosters is proud to support every athletic program at Catoctin High School by providing financial assistance for equipment, uniforms, technology, safety equipment, facility improvements and other program needs that help our student-athletes succeed.
As the primary fundraising organization supporting Catoctin athletics, we work alongside coaches, athletes, families and our community to ensure every Cougar Athlete has the resources they need to compete at their best. We also award two annual scholarships to deserving senior student-athletes, recognizing their dedication both on and off the field.
Your Sponsorship Makes a Difference
The cost of high school athletics continues to increase each year. While every team raises funds throughout the season, booster support and community sponsorships help bridge the gap and provide resources that athletic budgets alone cannot cover.
Examples of current athletic expenses include:

HUDL game film and recruiting software – approximately $1,500 per team each season

Baseballs – approximately $110 per dozen

Annual football helmet reconditioning – approximately $8,000
These are just a few examples of the ongoing costs required to keep our athletic programs competitive, safe, and successful.

CHS Sports Boosters helped fund several major purchases during the 2025–2026 school year, including:

Celebrating Cougar Excellence
Our athletes continue to make Catoctin proud through outstanding accomplishments in competition and in the classroom. During the 2025–2026 school year, Cougar athletes achieved remarkable success, including:

Olivia Baker winning the Class 1A State Championship in the 800-meter run while earning the prestigious MPSSAA Minds in Motion Scholarship.

Ashton Thompson placing third at the state wrestling championships and recording his 100th career pin.

Kaila Jones capturing the Class 1A State Championship in the shot put as a freshman.

Callen Edmonston earning the highest regional qualifying golf score in the state as a freshman.
